<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KMart @ Mar 6 2006, 12:59 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Yo BCB, whats with that deep sig ?</div> I'm a deep guy. Stromile Swift has been bad for a long time...thats why nobody really wanted him this offseason.
Some that come to mind:1) Steve Nash- Now listen, he is a FANTASTIC player, but he is very weak on D, and is only good on very high octane offenses. I hate when people say he is better than JKidd. Kidd is a much better rebounder, can run any offense, is a proven winner and leader, and is a better defender.2) Kevin Garnett- A few years ago he was on top, but in the past 2 or so years, he has gone downhill. Even when he had crap teammates for all of those years you could tell he was arguably the best player in the league. Nowadays, his play is just blah. I also think he is overrated on defense and he has never been agressive on offense.3) Yao Ming- I don't care what his stats are, like Lamar Odom, you have to watch the games and realize he is extremely tenative and sometimes just feels like a liability.4) Richard Jefferson- I live in NJ, and love RJ, but he is not a Vince Carter, is not a T-Mac, is not a Kobe, is not a LeBron James, etc... yet people make him out to be one. He is a good offensive player and solid on D, but he has nor ange with his jumpshot, is not very agressive, and he is just solid.5) RAY ALLEN!!!!- OMFG, so overrated. He is a glorified shooter, period. He is not better than any of the top tier swingmen, and is extremely one dimensional.Just some for now. None of them are bad players, all of them are at least very good. But many of them are usually made out to be way better than they are.
I would take Camby over Yao in a second. Yao can score a little bit better but Camby is a much better defender and rebounder and his scoring is not bad. Brad Miller isn't that tough and intimidating. I would pick Yaso over him.
The problem with KG is that he plays with good talent, but when he had great talent around him, he lost to the Lakers in the confrence finals, so now its back to what he always did. To add more guys to overrated, Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon are two guys who get good attention when teams talk about the Bulls, i mean 16pts on a team with no good weapon is not that impressive. Also, Baron Davis is Steve Francis. Seriously: Playground baller went to local school, left early, had sucess early in career, team forced to trade him when he went sour, now is high Turnover guy who seems to always want to fight someone for authority.
