Maybe you're confused. Sergio is the white guy who had 1 TO, and a steal to offset it. Bayless and Roy are the black guys who had 4 TO's and 5 TO's, and 0 steals combined. Or maybe you're talking about some other game in some bizarro world.
Oh a whole steal. Wow start that guy right away! Woohooo a whole steal!! That sure makes up for the multiple times he switched on to Dirk and got jacked.
Bayless' speed, strength and ability to get to the rim is a valuable piece to this Blazer puzzle. But if he wants to be a starting PG in the NBA, he has to first learn to dribble with his head up.
Oh man, I think that is about as far opposite from what will happen as you could possibly get. Somebody is getting moved, there is NO WAY all three of our point guards can coexist ... talk about chemistry and good will evaporating in a puff.
We lost quite badly tonight, and Bayless got completely schooled over and over and over, so I don't see your point. Rather than cherry pick 2 games, including one we lost, try looking at a bigger sample size. How about all the games since Blake went down? Huge advantage to Sergio. Or try finding your proof here in the real world: http://www.nba.com/blazers/stats/ Good luck.
No what is sad is that you continue to argue this point and continue to think it is more important than what makes the team win. That is truly sad.
Provide stats. I'd like to see this "huge advantage to Sergio." Unless you are trying to compare their stats on the season, in which case you would be dumber than I thought you were.
Yea, he's white guy getting absolutely destroyed by both Kidd and Barea. For the 2nd straight game vs. the Mavs I'd like to add. I'm starting to get the feeling that MARIS61 is Sergio's agent or something since that the only possible justification I can find for defending his abysmal play.
Dude, really? Maybe I didn't make it clear, but I was talking about my uncertainty about Bayless starting over Blake. Obviously Bayless starts over Sergio.
I was responding to this lie: Seeing him getting his pocket picked repeatedly tonight was embarrassing to say the least. Like most of the haters, complete fiction. Bayless and Roy were the only ones getting their pockets picked, as usual.
The difference between Sergio and Bayless is that Bayless also takes the opposing team "to school." Sergio just lets the opposing guards get a breather on the defensive end.
I already said that, and what a shitty agent Sergio has. Scouring a message board, and challenging people that have nothing to do with the fortune of your client. Hahahaha...... Seriously. Maris is just fighting because he cannot admit any fault within his basketball mind. Whatever. I'm getting close to using the ignore feature for the first time in my internet life. How exciting!
Skin color is irrelevant . But hey, when you have no other rational argument, you might as well play the race card. Right, what other reason could possibly explain why Sergio only got 14 minutes of PT to Jerryd's 34 and Brandon's 40? I mean, it couldn't have possibly have been because Sergio stunk again tonight for the second straight game. Nope, Nate's a racist who favors the "black guys". He only plays Joel because he's a good dancer and Blake because he likes watermelon. Sergio is the guy who had ONE assist tonight, for the second straight game. He's also the guy who has more TOs (3) than assists (2) over the last two games. Bayless is the guy who has 10 assists and 4 TOs over those same two games He also has 33 points on 13 - 18 shooting compared to Sergios 11 points on 5 - 11 shooting. BNM
Repost: guess the game thread ends after the game (duh) Someone tell me how effective Blake is playing with Rudy, Outlaw, Pryzbilla? His 3 worst 5-man units (by win %) are: #1) Blake/Rudy/Outlaw/LMA/Przy #2) Blake/Rudy/Outlaw/LMA/Oden #3) Our starters Seems he plays best with Roy and Przy. If Bayless starts, (which I think he should, personally), playing Blake with the reserves will be like playing Sergio with the starters. http://www.82games.com/0809/08POR1.HTM#5man
You obviously didn't even watch the game, as Roy and Bayless were called for questionable travel calls and offensive fouls. Not surprised, since you take Sergio and shut out everything else.
I'm all for Bayless to start. I get the feeling that he will really start to polish up with more playing time. We have seen him improve in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks, and I'm confident that he will continue to show consistent improvement with more playing time. Start the guy and watch him blossom, I say.
Here's the problem with just making shit up. The NBA actually documents each play, and assuming you aren't afraid to read the truth, you'll see it was Bayless and Roy who got buttraped all night long. Sergio was watching their 9 turnovers and the approximate 40 points they gave up from the bench. http://www.nba.com/games/20090204/PORDAL/playbyplay.html Kidd never scored on Sergio. Not even a FT. He scored all 7 pts, and most of his assists against Bayless. Barea scored 4 pts against Sergio. He scored his other 2 points on Bayless. So the truth is Sergio scored 5 pts and gave up 4 pts. Terry, the actual difference-maker in this game, scored all 20 of his points against Bayless.
