Given what went on last year with the time projected, and how that failed, the Lakers aren't stupid. They're gonna make a conservative prediction this time around. So don't pull a Brian Jr.

Bynum was relieved it was a tear! He can start rehab in a week to a week in a half. He can go full throttle in about 4 weeks!

I'm confident! Andrew looks confident! Awesome interview with John Ireland! Bynum will be back this year, fuckers!

I guess today on the radio in LA they had a Dr. on who said that the chances of him coming back in 5-7 weeks is pretty good and that 8-12 is a very cautious statement.

I meant full throttle rehab. Sorry.

    Good news regardless.

I don't feel too bad about this injury at all. Disappointed, yes, but not bad, nothing like how I felt last year. When he went down, I felt more for him than I did for the team. I really felt awful for the kid, but seeing him in the interviews, seeing him smiling and joking around, motivating the team, I know everything's going to be all right. He's gonna be back.

I keep reading the time table is closer to 8 weeks. No surgery will be needed, so I don't think it is a complete tear.

Doctors are confused at such a long time table given to Bynum's injury. As I've stated, the report was conservative because after the mishap last year, the Lakers don't want to screw this up again. Bynum will be back sooner than the report predicted.

Was just going to post this same thing. I don't know how accurate this site is, but I don't see why 8-12 weeks was the time frame. I'm honestly expecting 5-8 weeks. Bynum sounds so confident about being back in April.

Does that mean he's ahead of schedule?

Nice to hear he's starting rehab though, heal up young fella.

I still don't know why they said 8-12 weeks. That is so severe for an MCL injury.

I just hope Bynum doesn't rush back. I'd rather him come back completely healthy, even if that means he misses the rest of the regular season.
