I think J.J Will be a top 3 pick and probably the number one pick. He is a great player and he is a great three point shooter. I could name about things is good at all day. I would love to see him with the Bobcats though because that's what they need and in a few years they will no doubt be winning 30-40 games a year. Teams that don't have a good Guard don't get to far.

He won't be a top 3 pick...Guys like Rudy Gay, Aldridge, and maybe Bargnani will go higher...He will probably be picked after Gay, Brewer, and Carney.

JJ should end up in the bottom half of the lottery.

Morisson will also be ahead of Reddick because he suits in more with the NBA game (AKA no defense, can hit crazy shots, not a good passer)

Reddick is good moving without the ball, kind of reminds of Rip Hamilton when he does that. The good thing about him is that he doesnt need to feed off of his teamates, he can create his own shots being undersized at the SG position.

See, thats it right there. You compare JJ Redick to Rip Hamilton, but how many teams run multiple screens for a rookie to get a jump shot, plus he does not have the strength nor ability to do that all night and have to actually play defense. In the NBA, Redick is probably a good guy off the bench, maybe a good starter in a few years, but he still needs time. He needs to play in a pro set and actually learn what it means to truely create a shot. In college he gets freedom to shoot whenever he is open, but in the NBA, he will get pulled.

Yes, watching him the other day, I have to say that Redick is extraordinary at moving without the ball

I dont see JJ as a superstar in the NBA. But more so of a key role player. I see a lot of Fred Hoiberg in him.

If Orlando is smart and has a plan, he should be their pick this year to fill that 2 spot. They need a shooter. Then come free agency 2008, try and land that big time wing like Shard, rumors are their holding for Bron. But Shard seems more reasonable to me, but it would be something to see Bron go to Magic. A lineup of Jameer, Redick, Shard/Bron, Howard, Darko is pretty nice for years. Good mix of players who play to each other's strengths.

Shooting is always valuable. It will always be valuable. If Redick lands on a good or great team and is on the bench, his career will be alot better. If he goes lotto ends up on a shitty team and he starts.....ugly career ahead for him

Both great shooters that are undersized twos that can't really handle playing the point.

First of all, you'll be standing them next to each other when you talk about the two best strokes in the NBA, along with Rip. The biggest difference between Ray and Rip would be the three-ball, and I believe Redick will continue to rely on it, possibly much more as a pro. Two-guards are able to post up on Ray Allen easily because of his lack of size. Redick will in fact hit the gym...don't they all...but he's not going to get much bigger. Same problem with Salim Stoudamire. His stock dropped because the GM's were uncertain as to where he'll play on the floor. He's a pure SG trapped in a PG's body.I think Redick could very well be a starter at the pro level. I wouldn't be quick to say this in regards to him being a rookie or a second year player, but within 3-5 years, and depending on the team he is on, he could contribute well enough to grab a starting spot.16 a game is asking alot from Redick for his first few years in the league. When you drop below double-digits, that may be a bit low. If he can bring 12-15 PPG consistently throughout his career, he'll meet my expectations.
