i dont think you can make deals on weekends. Might have to wait till monday to announce.

however on sunday if sergio or outlaw sits.....things that make ya go hmmm

in all honesty i agree with FEZ...i think its a crap rumor BUT honestly the bucks and jefferson might be our perfect trading partner right now IF we can find a backup PF.

Actually isn't it a rule that if players are actively involved in trade discussions they can't play that night?

I don't see how that could be a rule. Often teams sit them so they don't get hurt, which would mess up any deal that is going through the last stages, but I don't think there's a rule unless/until a deal has been submitted to the league office for approval.

That might be true but if it is inforced we might only play Roy and Oden tonight lol.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
No, we don't. We score the ball well, we just play at a slow pace. We have trouble with defense.

Sometimes I feel like MIXUM is in a time loop and is stuck talking about our 2005 squad.

As J Quick has pointed out, for KP to make a deal the player needs to be an individual that will be of use in 3 years, not just now. Frankly, I don't know if RJ will be.

RJ and picks wouldn't be bad. I mean obviously it's not what we had hoped for, but I think that RJ is an upgrade over Outlaw. I know some would disagree with that assessment, but I personally think he might do well here. The trade also alleviates some of the logjam at the point, and provides us with a clear starter at small forward, so Batum can come off the bench.

However, I think there would need to be another trade. If this deal went down, who is our second point guard right now? Do we NEED a second point guard? Do they just rotate Rudy, Roy, and Bayless as the three guards in the rotation?

I think we might need to make a second deal, a smaller one, for a backup point guard. Any thoughts?

Side note: something that stands out to me is that the picks are included in the deal. We all know how KP feels about draft picks.

That's what I'm thinking. Another trade for a backup power forward and a backup point guard.

Does Milwaukee really need 2 more point guards? Don't they already have 3 mediocre points there? I suppose you could argue they are just filler, but really I don't see a reason for them to take more points. And I think Sergio would look even worse in Skile's system than he does in McMillan's.

What are we REALLY giving up though? Sergio? He won't even be playing once Blake comes back. Frye? He's the definition of a scrub right now. Travis? Sure, he's a large part of our rotation, but RJ would more than makeup for it, I think. RLEC? What if this really is the best option on the table right now?

Ridnour is out, which gives some timeliness to this rumor.

That trade sounds nice to me. I do wonder about the back up at PF however with Travis out. If LaMarcus goes down we are really screwed.
