It's too bad that LeBron was a starter and already his team's franchise player when he first came into the league. It's also too bad (for MJ) that both he and Kobe entered the league that young.

Do you think Kobe will touch 30,000 points?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB @ Mar 5 2006, 01:38 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Do you think Kobe will touch 30,000 points?</div>Well...let's do it this way. Kobe is on pace to having a 2,800-point season this year...assuming he maintains his average of 35 PPG. From where he's at now (16k) to 30k, you're talking 14,000 points.I'll say that Kobe has 8 years left in the tank. That leaves him at 36 when he retires. For the next 8 seasons, he'll need to average a total of 22 PPG, and this is assuming he plays 82 games each season...yet, missing a few each year <u>won't</u> budge that number a bit. Kobe may have just reached his prime, but the scary thing is, we really don't even know that yet. As much as someone can argue that he has, I can say he could improve in his shot selection, which results in more points.30,000? Not impossible.

Lebron will most likely break it bar injuries. And i think kobe can touch 30,000, his conditiong is good enough for him to play for another 8 to 9 years.
