They've got a tough schedule coming up. I think tomorrow night's game against the Knicks could be like their game against the Warriors after we beat them the first time. Then they face: San Antonio @ New Orleans (1st of a back to back) @ Dallas (2nd of the back to back) ALL STAR BREAK @ Utah @ Phoenix (1st of a b2b) @ Denver (2nd of a b2b) They are better than those teams, and I'm not trying to infer that they'll go without a win because that would be just stupid, but it'll be tough to pull out some victories during this stretch. BTW, I posted this here because more Celtics' fans posts in here than the Celtics' forum.
^ lol Seems okay... San Antonio will be a challenge. NO is without Chris Paul, and unless he returns, I don't think the Celtics should have too much trouble. Dallas is okay, I guess. All winnable games for the Celtics, but who knows with what happened after the Christmas game. They're weird.
I can't imagine that they go through another 2-7 stretch. As much as I hate the Celtics, they're too good to do that again. I wouldn't doubt that they lose a couple of those games though. I imagine San Antonio and Denver will be their toughest challenges, maybe New Orleans as well.
Good call about last night. And there are no overly scary games on that trip aside from Denver and maybe New Orleans. Utah, Phoenix, and Dallas are all near the bottom of the West playoff picture. No way we lose to San Antonio at home. 4-2 for the stretch.
