I dont even know where to start. But when you start sergio and batum and you give the league a few weeks of tape...your pretty much screwed. Those 2 guys are not NBA starting material and certainly not on a playoff team which i think we all realize...we arent. Batum is bad enough...sergio gets worse each game. Theres no excuse to get blown out by the thunder. sorry.

Last year we lost 4 straight going into the all star break. this year we will try to make it 5 and pretty much make sure we are the 9th seed by next weeks end. I said tonight before the game we would lose 3 straight and guess what? they are proving me right. do you really think we will beat the knicks or GS? We cant score. If roy is off...we have no chance. Theres no third scorer on this team.

Its really simple at this point...if pritchard doesnt make a deal...we dont make the playoffs. GOOD NEWS PRITCHARD...you get your F'IN LOTTO PICK. Im so sick of this franchise not trying to win.

Oh ...Oden and Durant...its a joke at this point. Wrong choice.

Maybe they'll try next year. Can't try every year. If only they had your level of desire and commitment.

Well, the knicks and golden state, those are two pretty tough teams.

Yep, this is exactly like last year. When the team was 30-19, they went on a huge tail...what? The team wasn't 30-19?

For someone who claims to be a fan, you sure hate this franchise a lot.

i dont hate this franchise. what i hate is when people wont admit theres a problem and nobody fixes it. KP knows this team isnt that great with the current group. Theres quite a few SFs who would do wonders for us YET NOTHING....NO DEAL.

Im just sick of waiting. If roy and aldridge were all that, you would see wins vs teams like the thunder. durant last night is truly what a star is. We need a trade plain and simple. I cant take watching batum miss 3 after 3. I cant take sergio turning the ball over while looking lost on defense. Its time. We know what we have. We need a damn trade!

We don't "need" a trade, we need fans with more reachable expectations and a dose of reality.

    I don't see a collapse.

I see a young team learning what it takes to play a full season. They need to learn how to play a full game first.

That's right Brandon...I bet their coach told them to push the ball because the Blazers don't get back on defense and if Roy misses a shot, he'll take his time getting up the floor because he wants the refs to know he's an All-Star and should have had the foul call.

Brandon, this is your team...shut up and lead it.

Suggestion: pack up and move to Oklahoma City. You will love it there.

Fuck, Mixum is soooo right. This is the first time EVER that any team ever lost to a team with a worse record. The Blazers also set a new NBA record last night for being the first team ever to string two losses together . . . IN A ROW. Neither has ever happened before until last night. Worst team ever.

Damn straight. You young whippersnappers don't know how good you have it.

Back in my day, we had to WALK to the old MC....uphill....in the snow....and the wolves would come skulking out of the sewers and pick off the stragglers. If you even made it to the game, all they had in the concession stands was warm beer and cold gruel....and they wouldn't even let you buy it. The team was 0-82 every season, the ushers were drunken thugs armed with sharp sticks, and the cheerleaders were recruited from the leper colony under the Burnside bridge.

Did we ever complain? Did we ever expect the team to NOT wallow in mediocrity? Hell no!

These fans today and their unreachable expectations. Makes me sick......

Mixum, when viewing the season (which is a season of development whether you like it or not) try a little faith, trust, and common sense.

The rest will take care of itself.

I wish fans would quit beating a dead horse.

We know how you feel, Mixum, about this franchise: It sucks, it blows, theres nothing good about it, and we all should just pack it up and try again next year.

Same with a TON of "fans" on this board after every loss or a brutal loss to a bad team like OKC. Check yourselves, people. Our team is super young, VERY young in fact; so when we stumble its just a learning process. Greg isn't playing great, so what. He probably should get more touches, he will.

Have a little patience, have a little faith. This team has been heading in the right direction for the last 3 years; what makes any of you think we suddenly have stopped moving forward? NOTHING, absolutely nothing in the last 3-4 years says we are regressing so quit your bitching and moaning and have a good time watching this team compete for the playoffs.

P.S. - Mixum, you ought to try being a fan sometime rather than some harsh "know-it-all" critic. It's freeing, really, and less painful.

    that response infuriates me.

WE HAVE HAD 6 F'IN YEARS OF DVELOPING/POTENTIAL. GOOD PLAYER STAKE THIR TEAM TO THE NEXT LEVEL. FOR ALL THE PRAISE ON KP AND ROY......WE HAVENT MADE THE PLAYOFFS. IM SO SICK OF HEARING "WAIT"

These poster like maris and others im sure are already planning draft lotto partys. KP love sthe lotto too. Then with the 13th pick we can take anothe rguy with loads of potential while we are teased by the usual suspects taht "this is finally the year"

fuck that...im sick of the growing pains excuse now.... if roy the all star (which is looking like a joke) aldridge and oden cant get us in the playoffs...maybe its time to rethink this.

I didn't realize Roy, Aldridge and Oden are six-year veterans already? If we were not making the playoffs when our core was 26-28 years old, then I'd be worried. But they're what... 21, 23 years old?

Blame Whitsitt for those first three years of having to suck after he spent money like crazy, and Nash having to clean up the mess. Then KP had to clean up Nash's mess with Darius' and Zach's contracts.
You don't turn a financial mess of a franchise into a championship contender overnight. Please... if you don't have the patience, go find another team.

Mixum, you are a menace to all that is the NBA fan.

    that is all.

    and it hasn't been 6 years, it's 3 and a half.

you want to feel frustrated about your team not making the playoffs go to Memphis, Clipperland, or Minny where they haven't been able to make the playoffs consistently or get out of the first round in decades.
