Whos a better fit for the knicks?which one should they trade this offseason. Cause im sure one will have to go.
If I had to pick one to keep Id say Francis, but not by much. They are both the same type of players..If its up to me, I deal them both..
I'd keep Francis if i had to choose, but honestly, i'd rather get rid of both. Neither can lead a team, and both are selfish.
I'd rather have Marbury because he can do more, he is the greater passer, greater driver, so far this year but they are both headcases that you don't want on your team. But knowing the Knicks, they will probably keep both of them.
It take Stephon Marbury as well, because I simply feel he is a better player, and is less selfish then Steve Francis. However, both are selfish, and have proven nothing in their career besides that selfish play wins nothing

However id like to see him go to a winning team, because i think he could be a great player if somebody sits him and down and tells him hes not a Top-Tier PG.
I'd take niether but if I had to pick it would be Stephon. He can pass(if he wants to) and he can drive it in and draw the foul.Steve can do that too but I feel Stephon is the better player.
Also I wanted to point out that Marbury is one of two players to average 20 points and 8 assists over their careers. Sorry, but Steve Francis just can't touch that. It doesn't matter what his attitude is like, that right there is amazing. He may be having a dismal year but that's because so much pressure is being put on him and also I think it is because of the amount of guards on the Knicks roster.
If you had to chose one the reason I dont pick Marbury is because he has proven that he cant lead this team and be succesful. Matter of fact, he has proven he cant lead any team very well. If a change is going to be made involving these two in which one of them stays, I think it has to be Marbury that goes because of how he has performed in NY thus far..
i would like to keep them both. francis has started to play pretty well as of late in the last 3 games even though they've only won one game since he's been acquired. he's been coming off the bench and eventually he will be starting. the knicks actually played good with the 3 guard lineup with steph, francis and q/craw.

Two of the same, shoot-first, selfish PG's in the same backcourt, and you would chose to keep both of them? You are never going to win with Marbury, untill you get rid of him and the other shoot-first egos on that team, you arent going anywhere..

Or is it PG in a SGs body? I dunno, im confused :g:
^lol it is sg in a pg's body. But yeah, what is it with you Knick fans. If you wanna improve your team then you gotta get rid ofatleast one or else Nate will hardly play. DOn't you wanna rebuild your franchise. You have some good young guys. I say you get rid of everyone except Lee, Robinson, Curry, Crawford and Frye and then rebuild using those young guys. Then you got a chance to be a succesful team. But if you keep on adding guards then it's just gonna take longer for you to rebuild and screw up your franchise even more. Are you even aware of what Isiah is doing to your team?

yea but the thing is the knicks can't get rid of either of them because their contracts are huge. they have to make things work. did you ever think of that? instead of complaining about it, i'm hoping for the best. you didn't watch the last 3 knicks games obviously. yea 2 of em were losses but they competed. they haven't been winning recently because they don't know how to win.
^You can always just dump them off on the knicks..oh wait..you are the Knickslol jk. For real why did you get Francis in the first place. Now you are basically screwed over. You're gonna have to try to get rid of one of them though. You never know, some team might want one of the two so they can make a run.

i'd prob get rid of marbury even though he is my favorite guy. his contract is a big reason why we're over the cap.

You need to clear cap room and get rip of these shootfirst type of players and build around the young guys like Frye and..well...yeah Frye..
