So much for my dreams of somehow trading for Jefferson and Sessions (a dream that's about 20% Jefferson, 80% Sessions)

I don't know why Skiles insisted on playing Ridnour over Sessions this season. Sessions has shown to be far superior. I still like the idea of acquiring both or maybe just RJ.

Didn't Sessions have a 26 assist game last season?

    A 20 point, 24 assist, 8 rebound game, then after that a 25 point, 14 assist, 7 rebound game

Although he played 44 minutes in the first game, and 53 minutes in the second game

Coming from a Bucks fan, Sessions isn't going anywhere. I still don't believe the Sessions to Memphis rumor at all. I see CV and Sessions being unavailable from the Bucks standpoint. RJ is definatley for trade though and I could see a RJ for Ratlif trade from the Trailblazers side.

Given his play this season and his massive contract, Raef's contract is definitely worth a lot more than Richard Jefferson.

After this season RJ is owed $14,200,000 and $15,000,000. If the Bucks want to pawn him off for an expiring, a super expring like Raef's for that matter, they have to throw in an incentive.

What if the deal was RJ and a 2nd for him?

The Bucks don't need to trade RJ, and to be honest, I see the Bucks getting a lot more quality offers once the deadline nears, which is the reason he hasn't been traded yet. There's no question they are shopping him though.

I'd say no to Raed for RJ. I don't even know if I would do Raef and ? for RJ and Sessions. RJ sucks now, just ask any Nets fan. They will tell you they were pretty happy to ship his ass out, for YI JIANLIAN of all people

Richard Jefferson is averaging 17.4 PPG this season. Yes, it's not that great, but at the same time it's not terrible either. I expected Jefferson to be more of a slasher then he has been, but you know what? He's a good player.

RJ isn't the same player he was with Jason Kidd. He's putting up 17/5 on a bad team. As of today he's a slight, slight upgrade from Travis. A 2nd rounder is not an incentive.

Raef's contract is a huge exp. deal with 80% of it covered by insurance. It's worth more than RJ. A lot more.

Since when are the Bucks a bad team? Right now they are in the #8 spot. Sessions-Redd-Jefferson-CV-Bougt is a great lineup if they were all healthy, and they were healthy up until the last 3-4 weeks.

And they are only getting worse with the injuries. RJ's production has been status quo as of late, too. He's putting up 'meh' type of numbers on a bad team.

    In November they lost to

    Boston
    Phoenix
    Cleveland
    Boston
    Denver
    Utah
    Orlando
    Atlanta
    Detroit
    Cleveland

They had a rough schedule in November and December. They are finally getting to the easier part of the schedule, then the injuries started to hurt them.

Jefferson had 18 or more points in 10/17 games in November. 5/14 in December, and 9/18 in January.

So his best stat wise was in November point wise, so you could actually say he played better against harder opponents.

Sessions blowing up isn't surprising. He had those big games last year and I thought he would have started over Ridnour to begin the season (it's why I thought they let Mo Williams go...which is ironic because they let TJ Ford go to give the reigns to Mo).

There was no way he was ever getting traded, especially not as some "filler" type of player. He's clearly not going anywhere now.

Here's an interesting thought. Who would you be willing to give up in trade (and what would you want back) to get a guy like Sessions?

It may have something to do with Skiles being an idiot, I'm not sure. See also CharlieV vs. Mbah a Moute.

I don't think it's all that complicated. I think it's possible they've been sandbagging him since after the first month of the season in order to keep his value artificially low; he's a restricted free agent this summer and if other team's aren't 100% sure if he's really and truly ready to lead a team they'd be less likely to offer anything the Bucks wouldn't be able to match. he was a pretty consistent 33 minute starter, putting up 16/6 and then all of a sudden they slashed his minutes and he's been putting up much less per game numbers.

There. That's my consipiracy theory for the week.

In order for me to trade a guy like Sessions would be tough to do. 2 1st round picks (this year) and next year, and Ratlif.

Raed, 2 1st round picks for Sessions

Would be interesting, and I'm still not sure I would do that.
