    $30,000 bonuses awarded to:

    Josh Neer & Mac Danzig (fight of the night)
    Cain Velasquez (knockout of the night)
    Joe Lauzon (submission of the night)

    Velasquez, really? His opponent jumped back up to his feet to continue the fight. Give split the $30,000 between Grice & Veach. They deserved it more for each getting TKO'd, sort of.

    the grice/veach stoppage was BS. I think Grice was winning that fight too.

    great to see cung le at a mma event regardless in the ring or outside the octagon or ufc for that matter.. anthony johnson is a beast on his feet.. want to see what he can do with a good wrestler.. the guy can fight both at welter and middleweight if he wanted to..

    i wont mind a koschek vs johnson fight..

    cain needs better opponents.. cheick kongo anyone?

    UFC Fight Night 17 averaged 1.7 million viewers for the card.. pretty solid numbers for Spike TV.

    Cain Velasquez: $60,000 (includes $15,000 win bonus and $30,000 “Knockout of the Night” bonus)
    Joe Lauzon: $50,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus and $30,000 “Submission of the Night” bonus)

    Also, the UFC has released Rich Clementi and Luigi Fioravanti after their losses.

    Luigi I can understand, but Rich?? Dude may not always wins but I think he puts on good fights... not a good message to send IMO.

    I think this was his third stint in the UFC... so they are willing to bring guys back, just not to lose.
