My opinion is that Vlad is the best player in the deal, and you don't downgrade mid-season for salary reasons. Suppose Luke or Ariza get hurt, wouldn't you want Vlad, instead of the other two, to fill the role? I think they should have waited until the offseason to make the trade.

I'm not sure they'd have the opportunity in the offseason. The Bobcats made this deal because of Gerald Wallace being injured.

If Luke or Radman get injured then Mihm & Sasha would play more minutes. I would prefer the Lakers added a veteran hungry for a title instead of two unproven players. I'm hoping there's another trade in the works involving Morrison for a veteran like Joe Smith.

He does have some valid points. Radman has the most talent of the three and was talented outside shooter. Morrison has the ability to be a perimeter threat, but neither AMMO or Brown are going to get PT until they learn how to play the offense.

If Luke or Ariza gets hurt, Kobe will spend some time playing at SF.

Bottom line is, either Luke or Vlad had to go. With Vlad gone, it pretty much guarantees Ariza will be back next year. If we held onto both, along with giving Ariza a contract extension, we would have to spend about 15 million a year on the SF spot alone, which would still be one of the weakest positions on our team.

Plus, I could care less about stats. If he isn't going to see time on the court anyways, there's no point in having him here. As Mitch said in his interview, it benefits nobody to have Vlad racking up DNPs. The team is wasting money, and Vlad will only get more frustrated. There is no way you can turn this around and say this was a bad trade for us.

oh btw, I read that the Lakers may shop Morrison immediately for an expiring contract.

From what I've observed, Sasha was actually stealing Vlad's SF minutes too, so he was quite expendable.

if radman was so good then why wasnt he producing for us? this is fuking insane! he wasnt playing for a reason and even he wanted out of the lakers, bottom line is, radman wasnt producing, and we were handing him huge paychecks, ones that he doesnt deserve.

radman wasnt providing u with what we needed, so we shipped him out, and to think that this guy beleives kobe needs radman to get space on the floor, please, dont make me laugh, if this guy is saying that radman made his teammates better, then he is clinically retarded.
