I like the upside of Brown. He reminds me of an Ariza type of player. If Phil an groom him properly, I can easily see him becoming a valuable asset to this team.

I have some hopes for Morrison. After his traumatic knee injury last year, it is understandable that he has struggled. His mid range and perimeter game can be perfect for the Lakers.

I like the acquisition of Brown. Hopefully he can push Farmar the way Critt did, that way he doesn't get complacent the way he did to end last season. As for Morrison, he could be the perfect player for this team if starts hitting his jumper the way he was able to stroke it at Gonzaga. Now if only he can learn what defense was, and how to play it...

Yeah, like I said, I could care less for Morrison, but I have some hope for Brown. At the very least he's better than Sun Yue.

I'm not counting on either contributing anything meaningful this season. They'll be lucky to get off the bench and participate in garbage time. Whoever can learn the offense first will be the one PJax favors.

Exactly. Wasn't Brown thrown in more for salary cap reasons?

I think Morrison will strive in the Tri, so I hope he gets a chance to go out there.

I like what Shape said earlier about Brown lighting a fire under Farmar's ass like J Critt did. I like how Phil has a choice for a solid 3rd string back up to keep Jordan on a short leash if need be.
