I'm about to change services. I've dealt with these clowns for close to a year and have the same problems. There is no communication between their departments, the representatives generally don't know what they are taking about. Whenever I call them up, they tell me to go to the T-Mobile store; whenever I go to the store they tell me to call them up. A couple of days ago, they took money from my account and they claim that they didn't. So I went to my bank got a copy of my account transactions and showed it to them. Yet, they still deny that they took anything when there is evidence that they did. This is not the first time either. I was supposed to get 250 extra minutes a couple months ago. I used 25 of them and ran out. After being on hold for 45 minutes, they realized they forgot to put the '0' after the '25'. There have also been several instances where I paid my bill and they sent me a text message saying I paid. Then after a few days (sometimes hours) they cut off my service saying I didn't pay. So, I'm done with this crappy service. If I wasn't a broke college student I might threaten them with a lawsuit or something. Enough's enough. Anyway, does anyone know of a decent service where I don't have to put up with such antics?
MrJ when you call T-Mobile ask for account services. That's the department who can actually help you. Customer service is just there to frustrate you. If they don't transfer you to account services, ask for a manager and then tell the manager to transfer you. Make sure to take down all their names as well.
I like T-Mobile only because I have a ton of minutes (1000) and free weekends/nights with 1000 texts for like $50 a month
Ew. I had Sprint for 2.5 years and bought out of my contract with them because I was sick of it. I had no service at my own house, despite them saying that I would when I renewed my contract. I now have US Cellular, which has been great for me.
Verizon is by far the best service, but I believe it's quite a bit more expensive than all of the others (sans ATT, which is just as expensive.).
I assume, living in NYC, that he's going to have full bars no matter where he is or what carrier he has.
That sucks. I personally think T-Mobile is the best out of all. They have kind of expensive phones, but their plans are great. We get unlimited texting for our family for 20/month. And our bill isn't that expensive also. Sucks that you've had problems with them. If I were to switch out of T-Mobile, I would choose Verizon
