Ben wallace7.8ppg12.2rpg1.6 spg2.2bpgMarcus Camby14.2ppg12rpg1.4spg3.1bpgCamby has been underrated this season IMO. If though Camby missed a few games hes still playing on a high level. If i had to pick a player to have this season i would go with Camby
Camby is better offensivly, rebounds the same amount, better shot blocker, better one on one defender, no doubt.
I'd take Ben Wallace. He's very durable. I'd want a guy I know is gonna play no matter what. I like Camby, but he's so injury prone.
I'd take Camby when he's healthy. Camby has developed a jumper and is good off put backs. Ben doesn't have an offensive game. Period. Basically all of his points are off of offensive rebounds. They are both equally good defenders. Both are tough inside guys, both can block shots. Both are about equal at rebounding. This year, atleast I'd take Camby but Ben is proven and idk if Camby can ever have this type of season again or even have anything close to it.
In my opinion right now Camby is the best center. I would take him over anyone if he's healthy, but sadly he always gets injured.
I would take Camby in a flash if he wasn't injury prone. But Camby is a better player and is a key player for the Nuggets Defense. He is such a good stopper down in the paint.
gotta go with big ben. he's an intimidator not just because of his size but that fro would scare the <Censored> out of me if i had him guarding me. i don't think camby has ever played a full season either.
I think it depends on what you need. A team that needs more scoring would probably prefer Camby because he can score for you along with the rebounding and defensive presence that both players make. However, if your team already has some scorers in place and just needs a defensive presence and rebounder, I think you have to go Ben Wallace. All in all, because of Camby's injury-prone ways, I would chose Ben Wallace overall because of the dominating defensive presence he adds to your team..
I would take Marcus Camby. He is a solid rebounder, and a great shot blocker. Add the fact he will hit open hots for you, and finish at the rim, and he beats out Ben Wallace. I'd take 14 PPG, 10 Rebounds, and 3 blocks over 7 PPG, 11 Rebounds and 3 Blocks

Even though Camby is better than Big Ben is almost every facet of the game?

News flash, you take defense over offense anyday? Marcus Camby is a better defender. Ben Wallace is 31, he's not going to develope his offense.
Marcus Camby is a quality player but I wouldn't take him over Ben Wallace. Wallace is a better man defender and tougher than Camby.

I would take Ben. He isn't much of an offensive player (although he can get put backs and is a great offensive rebounder). He is a great defender, he hustles, and he is aggressive. He wants to win and has really come a long way from where he started out in the league. He has gotten defensive player of the year more than once and was an all-star this year. He is the better pick (unless you needed a center that can put some points on the board on your team, then I would go with Camby over Ben).
