In the latest edition of GQ (the one with Lebron on the cover). Our boy, Jose Calderon gets a nice little mention along with some other notable PGs. In the article "50 reasons to have actual, legitmate, genuine, hope" Jose is mentioned in reason #49, I know I am getting excited over a small thing but GQ is a pretty big magazine in the states and its nice to see our PG get some recognition.
They didn't put them in the same class. They just said the NBA hasn't seen this many good PG's since those guys played. Plus, I rather have Jose than Deron Williams. I'm not a fan of his game and I think PG wise, Jose is better. I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but IMO, Jose is a better PG.
Yo didnt know know, Magic Jognson was the greatest swedish point guard to ever play in the NBA. He gets little recognition cause his name closely resembles Magic Johnson.
Talent wise yea, I'd give it to Deron. But I rather have a healthy Jose on my team than a healthy Deron.
please retract this statement. jose's defense consists of yelling and clapping hands; deron williams is a stud, arguably a hall fame worthy one if he had more years under his belt. look at this way- deron is the best player on a good utah club and jose is a point guard on 15 games below .500 national embarrassment.
