Re: KMart's observations of today's action Watching the Sixer games today, I see that - Andre Igoudala is a great post player. From today, and Friday, whenever he gets the ball on the blocks he does great things. He has scored two layups off post moves in the 4th quarter today. If they gave him looks in the post he could be a consistent 12-15 point scorer- Kyle Korver is an underrated defender, drawing atleast one offensive foul every game I've seen of him. He gets charges, and really stays in front of his man. Igoudala is an overrated defender, as he rarely forces his defender one way. He can block shots and body up guys, but is overrated as a one on one player (Yes I know Korver just got scored on with 3 seconds to go )- Jason Terry is one of the NBA's most underrated players. He seems to be even mroe of a leader for Dallas than Dirk Nowitzki. Another guy who gets no credit: Tony Parker. This is the Spurs best palyer this year, and they are #1 in the West. If Elton brand gets credit for a good team, why not Parker, who is ahving a career year?
Re: KMart's observations of today's action I agree with everything. I agree that Iguodala is an overrated defender. If all these 76ers are such great defenders (AI, Iggy, SameD) then why aren't they playing better?
Re: KMart's observations of today's action Only one knock on Terry, if he ain't on shooting wise, he brings nothing to the table. He almost rivals Nash defense wise. But when he's on, he's great and has great emotion in bringing the crowd and team up.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Another guy who gets no credit: Tony Parker. Re: KMart's observations of today's action No observations on the Suns doing better without Nash today? lol It went something like this: Nash Losing by 7Without Nash TieNash Losing by 11 or 13 for a long timeWithout Nash caught up and it was like a 2 point leadNash we finished them out in the last 5 minutesNash is a great player and I love him but this is one of those games I was telling you about in my argument about Nash winning MVP.
Re: KMart's observations of today's action The Raptors just beat the Celtics, after 2 Celtics fans guaranteed wins, lol. Craziness.
Re: KMart's observations of today's action Thats the thing, you can never guarantee a win in this league, because on any given night any team can win regardless of who they are playing. Weak teams tend to be more dangerous, however, because the team with the upper hand that should win tends to play down to their level and dont come out with as much energy. Alot of times you can tell in the first couple minutes who will win a game based on the body language of the players and how they approach the game. If they are playing a weaker team and come out looking flat, watch out..

He made great passes for open looks and made a crazy circus shot.

He actually played Ricky D quite well, earlier this year.

He is important to the team because of what he can do but he's not as valuable this year as it seams. This has happened before many times but it was just on ABC for everyone to see. And yes that was a nice circus shot but there is a possibility that House or Barbosa or whoever would have been in besides Nash would've made a 3 and kept playing well like they were doing. And yes, Nash did make some nice passes but that led to 6 turnovers which is half of what the team got. But like I said...Nash is a great player and should be voted on the first team, he just isn't the MVP. We probably would've lost without him but that's because you can't have one PG playing the whole game. If it was just Nash and no Eddie coming in with Barbosa we would've lost too.
