He better not be out sick with the "I got traded for Amare"....

Tonight is going to be one of the best nights of the Bulls season. The Johnny Red Kerr halftime extravaganza will be amazing.

not a good start. 2 rose fouls. 2 t.o.'s from gordon. not playing through shots where they think they're getting fouled. :NOTMARIS:

Great job by Kirk to contain Stucky. I don't think he's scored since Kirk's come in.

That was a nice And 1 by Gordon.

I think you have to keep feeding Gordon. He thrives in big game moments. I'm sure he wants to just have an absolute monster of a game in front of Michael Jordan, as well as on Johnny Red night, and after the shaky start, he has been great.

Hinrich has neutralized Stuckey, and the Bulls are just playing all around better than earlier in the game.

Half time show was awesome, but the Bulls look horrible.

I love it when Thomas gets booed after one of his god awful plays.

Halftime was great, I definitely got teary eyed. I thought it was well put together.

Ben Gordon with the game winner. Best game of the season, so exciting. Great game by both bigs. Really raised their trade values.

Gordon 8-18, team leading +13 +/-, scores 24, a steal and a block. Detroit isn't a tough defensive team, no doubt.

I was thinking the same exact thing.

    Noah - 12 points 16 rebounds
    Thomas - 22 points 10 rebounds

Thomas really kept us afloat for awhile in the fourth until Rose/Gordon started going.

I think you still need to make the trade for Amare. But maybe with their increasing value, we might be able to keep Noah next to him.

At the very least, this might solidify our package as the best for Amare, even if it means giving up both THomas/Noah, and maybe it allows us to keep Sefolosha. (Leaving us with one less hole to half to fill).

But their recent play is really validating Paxson's eye for talent. They obviously can play at a high level, the question is whether they can do it consistently.

I'd still trade both of them for Amare, but I think it's a really good thing that they're making you have to actually think about it. That's good for the Bulls.

    Fun game to watch.

Glad to see the Bulls give Red his due. A staple of the Bulls organization for 35 years.

Noah, the unsung hero with 16 rebounds. Again, TT and Noah is too high a price for Amare.

Tyrus continues his run of quality games.

Gordon with a huge game winning shot. I have no problem with Gordon shooting that, but I don't like the ISO play where Gordon may be forced to drive and throw up an awkward shot. Still, can't argue with the results tonight for Gordon.

Stuckey is impressive. Big and abusive out there. Makes Rose look like Tony Parker in physical comparison. May be more of a two guard when all is said and done.

Rose started rough, but continued to attack the rim. Played much better D on Stuckey. Yeah, he probably was crying at the end there. Probably just in shock after that vicious moving pick by McDyess, but as long as he continues playing great point and improving his D, who gives a fuck?

Rasheed with a dumb ass play at the end. He must have have asked himself, "What would Nocioni do in this situation", and just chucked up a terrible shot.

Piston long time unsung hero Richard Hamilton. This guy is such a smart player and I believe should someday be in the hall of fame. Just not in the upper echelon of LeBron, Kobe, Duncan, etc.

Deng with his second straight clinker of a game. Speaking of guys we were thinking turned the corner, what's up with that?

I wonder if everyone realizes we're 1 game out of 8th seed.

New Jersey is 1/2 game ahead of us in 9th position.

Remember when Deng folded like a folding chair after the Kobe trade talks? Probably doing the same thing over the Amare talks. Perhaps Deng has been part of the discussions, and Paxson informed him of that.

:tsktsk: I think Paxson's eye for talent is validated when and if they are consistent. Not prior.

If he is in a funk due to maybe leaving Chicago, he ought to spend a couple days in Phoenix in mid February. He'll cheer right up.
