With all the talk of Amare and him jumping ship on us it made me think about LaMarcus. I dont think he will but Im curious to see what others think. If you had to put a percentage on it what would you say the chances of LaMarcus leaving or asking to be traded? I know that we can sign him for more than anyone but would we match a max offer if someone gave it to him? But outside of that Im curious about your thoughts on him leaving.

My guess would be about a 10% chance. It would take a "Bulls-esqe" blowup and meltdown for it to happen.

I'm sure LaMarcus understands that all these Amare rumors are just part of the business.

1-2 percent. Barring something drastic, I think LaMarcus likes it here. He's probably not one of those guys who would make Portland his permanent home the rest of his life, but for his career, he'd stay.

He seems like a pretty private guy. Portland is a good place to keep out of the limelight.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'd put a 1% chance on him leaving, largely to symbolize that anything is possible but I can't see any reason why he would.

On a related topic, I'd put the chances of Amare leaving at 10% and drop that down to 5% if I knew that he had no qualms about Portland, the coach or the other players before acquiring him.

Money trumps almost everything and Portland can offer the most, via Bird rights.
