You'd think a great young player like Amare and teams would be jumping all over him, but they aren't.

He's a risk because he can opt out of his current deal. There's no guarantee the team who acquires him will be able to re-sign him.

That's true. In that case, teams should be trying to convince the Suns to take a big expiring contract to clear up cap space. I'd like Toronto to go after him with everything they have. A Bosh - Amare tandem would be scary.

As for Houston, I don't think they have enough to give up. They Suns don't want T-Mac and Artest is a maybe. Scola would be good, but the salaries don't match.

Phoenix is a complete mess at this point. They designed a roster around D'Antoni's system and Steve Kerr has systematically torn it apart. I didn't think the Suns needed such a major overall, just a few minor pieces to improve their frontcourt size might have been enough to get into the Finals. They should never have let go of Kurt Thomas and Tim Thomas not to mention the 1st round picks they sold off.

Steve Kerr has crippled their franchsie, if his intent all along was to rebuild he should have tagged Amare as the franchise player and built around his skillset.

I can't see the Suns making a deal to a team out West, and I think Amare would have the same chemistry issues with Yao that he currently has with Shaq. I like how the current Houston roster is constructed, but they just need to stay healthy for once.

i've heard amare rumors to everywhere.........with him not likely signing back after 2010 I wouldn't want him, unless it would involve giving up she-mac..............I've also been seeing rumors of Ron for Vince Carter..

Vince + Shemac = Softness Part II
