No one has posted a poll about this so I thought I would. I say no, but I'm anxious to see what the overall concensus is of the LMA/RLED/Bayless for Amare trade.

    I say no.

Absolutely not... this trade makes no sense to me, and I will be really bummed if we do it.

which amare trade? the one proposed? Bayless, RLEC and LMA?

I think it would be 100% no.

There are too many permutations to vote yes or no for me.

Aldridge and Bayless and RLEC for just Amare? Probably not. For Amare and Barbosa? Maybe.

Aldridge and RLEC for Amare? I probably would vote "yes".

I think it'll be close to unanimous "NO" for RLEC, JB and LMA.

    For scraps, sure, why not?

Unless it's Raef and scrubs for Amare, I doubt KP would even listen.

And if he traded, it would be to send Amare elsewhere for something much better.

agreed. if we were able to save LMA in a deal and give up bayless, Travis and Rlec for Amare I would imagine it means we've lined up another deal for a top tier PG in exchange for Amare.

    Someone like Calderon or Harris.

No. As good as the kid can be *in the right offense*, his value to Portland doesn't justify the asking price.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
In a vacuum, I'd consider it but lean no (the RLEC, Aldridge, Bayless option). Considering how badly Phoenix seems to want to move Amare, I'd say definitely not...it's worth trying to hold out for a better deal.

What if dealt Bayless, Travis, Sergio & RLEC and a pick for Amare....and then shipped him over to the Bucks in a deal for Rich Jefferson and Sessions?!? hmmmmmm

I wish this was a public poll since the 3 people that have voted yes haven't had the cahones to post in the thread. ;)

I'm not even a Blazer fan but I would enjoy watching this lineup:

    PG: Sessions
    SG: Roy
    SF: Jefferson
    PF: LMA
    C: Oden

    veeeery nice:cheers:

    Sessions/Blake
    Roy/Rudy
    Jefferson/Batum/Webby
    LMA/???Channing WTF?
    Oden/Joel

not bad but the lack of depth at the pf has me concerned if greg gets in foul trouble, which we all know would happen.

EDIT: if we could squeeze either Batum or Webby in place of Travis i would probably do it.

It's mostly just this trade proposal. Leaving us with channing and ike come playoff time is going to be interesting in the 2nd unit to say the least.

why can't they just look at the free-agents available to fill in the meantime....and then go after a more viable backup this off season
