Fuck. If SA can pull in Brad and/or Salmons, they can be legit again. Big Shot Bob, say no to Boston!
What's Rob gonna do? I love him but he's done. He was HORRIBLE last year in the playoffs, and he's not getting any better. If SA can use him to nab Salmons though, that's be a great deal for them. I just don't expect Horry to ever play again.
I still can't get that image of Horry last year in the playoffs. He was SOOOOO WASHED up, it was embarassing to watch. EDIT: haha, yup, exactly Brian
Let him go wherever. He's pretty much done and i can't see him helping a team that much. If he's part of a Salmons deal, than I might be a little more worried about the Spurs, but this all assumes that he buys in to the Spurs system and doesn't kill the great chemistry that team has developed between their core.
I remember Salmons, I used to watch him play pretty much every game back when I was in Philly. And from what I saw, he’s all offense. He came out of nowhere one year after pretty much being a scrub, which won him over a lot of fans initially. Then the hype and excitement died out when everyone found out all he was interested in was scoring the ball. Ask any Sixer fan, they’ll tell you he’s the type of player who looks for his own touches. He wants his and he will get his, even if it means hogging the ball down the court and chucking up shots. Defense also was not in his vocabulary, he either sucked defensively, or he just didn’t even care. Obviously he could have changed in years in Sacramento, but being a scorer on a horrible team doesn’t mean much, especially with his history. And if you think I’m fabricating my statement, all you have to do is look in the Sixers forum, search around, and you’ll find exactly what I’m talking about. The fans turned sour on him when they realized he was just in it for himself and his offense.
It's just a rumor, but the Spurs are looking to get a deal done. A new rumor is San Antonio trying to land Vince Carter by dealing Mason & Horry. I doubt that happens, but San Antonio is definitely looking to deal.
