He's not calling him "a turtle", he's calling him "Turtle". Notice that Jerryd starts yelling "Wayne!" in return. That's GO's middle name.

That's what I was wondering.

 

This is interesting from the perspective that so many people have speculated at times that Bayless is going to rub guys the wrong way with his hyper-competitive attitude, etc. I think it's somewhat clear that at least Greg thinks he's OK and probably gets along with him just fine.

 

I could tell from that video that Oden really does like Bayless. I do the think the "Turtle" nickname is probably from Entourage.

 

He seems to be the kind of guy you like when he's playing with you and you hate when he's playing against you.
