It seems that during the past 8 games, he has had little impact for us off the bench. I saw Moo mention something about him playing more than he has in a season since his rookie year and possibly being tired, which I think is a real possibility. I expect him to recover, especially with the AS break upon us, but should Phil worry about conserving him in the 2nd half of the season for the playoffs? If he has hit a wall, will Phil put Ammo on the fast track in practice to lessen the back up role for Ariza?
I really do think he's hit a wall. Aside from the 80 games he played as a rookie, his next highest was 57...and he's played 51 this year, so I think fatigue is catching up to him, and that's something the Lakers are going to have to monitor. We don't need him getting a senseless injury because of fatigue. I think the AS break is going to be great for him and hopefully he picks up his play again after it. Hopefully AMMO can get somewhat of a grasp on the offense pretty quickly too, that way we can have him at our disposal if we need him.
He just need to watch video of himself going to the rim last year...he'll play like the Ariza we all know again
I dunno, maybe with Odom off the bench allowed Ariza to do what he was doing before Bynum got hurt. Now with Odom starting, Ariza's shots are harder cause the defense wont have to focus on Lamar Odom.
true, true....it looks as if Odom was taking the pressure and attention for the second squad...since teams had to account for him so much. Now that teams can focus more on other role players getting more minutes the easier looks and more space in transition are getting harder to come by
Good point, you and NNNM are onto something there. You know its gonna make a difference. btw NNNM. Garfield>>>>>>Heathcliff
Hopefully Drew can come back and either mold right back in with the starting lineup or dominate that 2nd unit.
Whaaaaa?!?!? You shut your dirty, filthy, sap-suckin' mouth!!! All Garfield's fat ass does is eat, sleep & shit all day! Oh, and mess with an obviously troubled suicide risk....in Jon Heathcliff is the terror of the Hood!!!
It's a fair assumption Ariza has hit the wall. I also think he's struggling with his role on the team and his minutes have been so damn inconsistent this season. As I said before there's been suggestions that PJax is sending a statement to Ariza's agent by limiting his client in hopes of getting Ariza for discount price. Hopefully those rumors got shotdown after the Radman trade, because the Lakers have made it clear they want to lock Ariza to a long term deal. I'm really curious to see what happens in the second half with our squad. This is the time of the season when coaches finalize their 8 men rotations.
As crazy as it is.....I'd say Top Cat was the coolest though....mini pimp....with his cane, large hat and the hottest bitch of them all!!!!
