But his criticism of Nellie seems right on target. Having to play your opponent and compete against the mind-games of your coach. Honestly, I never wanted to buy into that, but I do now. Otherwise Morrow would've played more than 52 seconds in the blowout win over NY.
I agree with Harrington. When it comes to positions above the 1,2,3 spot, Nelly doesn't handle it well when we have to go to a more prototypical match-up for defensive purposes and inside scoring. When in doubt, Nelly almost always goes smaller. For Harrington (who plays small on the glass and at finishing inside), it just hurts the Warriors when they use him as an outside shooting center who doesn't block shots and settles for taking charges. It's exactly how Dunleavy was mis-used even further, despite the fact that Dunleavy had very few full-time positions he could play due to his body type (either too slow for small guys, too weak for bigger players).
