    Very strange timing firing him right before the trade deadline. Was Paxson against getting rid of Amare and the owner wants him? Is the owner sick of waiting for a trade and seeing Chicago unable to make one for 3 years in a row now?

    This could also mean that Paxon favorite Deng could be available for much less then what was earlier rumored.

    Yes, very strange timing. "Paxon against getting rid of Amare" ????? He cant get rid of someone he doesnt have. :)

    He's now officially resigning after the trade deadline. Doug Collins looks like the leading candidate.

    How the hell are we supposed to continue to rip off GM's in draft day deals if they are fired? They gotta keep that guy. :biglaugh:
