Can people lay off of Mixum. You know the type of threads he starts, and it you don't like them, then don't click. But to click and then take shots at him every fucking time is just dumb. Once in a while, if someone wants to go after a poster, no prob, but this is getting fucking stupid, 20 posts a day at least about Mixum. Grow the fuck up.

I think the team should get Luke because they are in dire need of a slow point guard with poor defense who can shot the three, doesn't turn the ball over and gets assists you don't notice.

The rumour from the late Mike Kahn was that Nate was pissed about all the Sonics white draft picks...Radmanovic, Ridnour, Collison and Swift.

 

And not to mention, they weren't any good either.

Actually the story hinted that Nate thought Sonics management was biased.

 

It was a big story that Mike Kahn wrote when Portland hired Nate...giving all the reasons why he left Seattle.

 

The drafting of Swift was pretty horrid.

That quote doesn't prove Nate is racist, just observant. And, remember the Sonics GM at the time was Wally Walker. So, be careful not to confuse gross incompetance with rasicm. Wally drafted plenty of shitty black guys, too. And while they may not have been great picks, at least the four white guys mentioned in the article are all still on NBA rosters. I'm not defending Walker's drafting record (it sucks), just saying the white dudes he picked were no worse than the black guys he drafted.

When did I accuse Nate of being racist? I said he was pissed off the Sonics drafted 4 white guys. That was from a story I read years before. HCP mentioned the racism.

Can't say i'm defending the ducks basketball team though... I couldn't care less about Ducks basketball, but God they suck. It actually is funny. I'm only a Blazer bball and Duck football guy.
