Edit- Adjusted my grades a little after fixing the tiers some players were at. I had some a bit too high in relation to more proven players. Ratings Trevor Ariza - B- ==>Trevor was a solid B, I love him but his cold streak has made me doubt him just a bit. Shannon Brown - Incomplete Kobe Bryant - A+ Andrew Bynum - B+ Jordan Farmar - C+ Derek Fisher - B- Pau Gasol - A+ DJ Mbenga - Incomplete Chris Mihm - D+/Incomplete ==> Played so sparingly, hard to say with him. He turns the ball over and his efficiency blows. Adam Morrison - Incomplete Lamar Odom - B ==> A- since Drew went down. Josh Powell - C+ Sasha Vujacic - C- Luke Walton - C- Sun Yue - F RIP Radmanovic - C in his limited minutes along with counting those nice Charlotte games. :O
You guys are rating Odom based on his performance since Bynum going down. He is a solid B or B- for me when looked at over the span of the season so far.

His defense has been poor (as always), his FG% is all the way down at 40% - which is a career low, 3PT% is down at 30% - which is 2nd worse of his career...this is my justification. He just hasn't played well enough to warrant anything higher than something in the D range in my book.
I gave Odom an A not only for his recent play since the Bynum injury, but also accepting to come off the bench and lead the 2nd unit. He's thrived in both roles this year.
If I wanted to go through all your posts, I can find a lot of posts of you bitching about Lamar this year. He has not thrived off of the bench. Just because he accepted his role on the bench doesn't mean he has thrived. When he comes off the bench, he hasn't really had an impact. The way he is playing as a starter should be the way he is playing as the 6th man. Jamison did it, he had a huge impact off the bench for Dallas years back. Lamar off the bench has not had the impact we were expecting. He was barely getting 10 PPG off the bench.
He does make a lot of mistakes late in games which piss me off, but his overall body of work is deserving of an A. The Lakers bench has dominated this year and Lamar is a big part of it. Lakers reserves lead the league in +/- differential by a large margin at +556. Utah is a distant 2nd at +390.
I will agree that his presence on the bench has made our second unit by far the best in the league, but his game in general doesn't warrant an A. When Bynum went down, he stepped up and that play warrants an A+ IMO, but before that, he was no better than average. His impact on the bench has been huge, yes, but his play throughout the season has been average until recently.
I'm with Mamba here. I don't think he was very good off the bench. He was only a 9/6 type of guy off the bench, and was terribly inconsistent in the process. His presence made the bench better, but that doesn't warrant an A for him, since his play, until recently, didn't warrant it.
