Just watched Sportscenter. They ran down the 10 best plays of the NBA season so far. #1 was Bradon's 35 footer to beat Houston at the buzzer. Pretty cool they chose that play.

Nice! That play deserves to be the #1. I mean, c'mon, the guy had .8 seconds left! I thought we had lost, but somehow, Roy caught the ball and hoisted the shot up from like 30 feet, the ball floating through the air as the horn sounds and the red lights around the backboard turn on. Then swish! Ball game, baby! What a miraculous play.

Everything that led up to that shot really amplified it's significance.

One of the best buzzer beaters I have EVER seen. That was an amazing play. I was listening to the radio and watching the game, as I often do. One of the best plays I have ever seen, and Wheels had the best call I have ever heard on that one... truly a transcendent moment for any Blazer fan!

I'll always remember this game, sitting in the 300 level and just about to go apeshit that we gave up a three-point play to lose the game. With .8 seconds left, I didn't have any faith.
Then seeing B-Roy launch it into the air on the other side of the court and see it swish through... greatest feeling in the world.

"Yes he did . . ooooohhhhhhh yaaaaaaaa!!!!"

Funny you mention that. On ESPN last night, they showed the highlight with Wheels call (and not Marv Albert's TNT call - it was a national TV game)

I love Wheels on that call too, and Brandon pulling his jersey half way off while running off the court . . . great game.

I was watching SC in bed with my wife, and when they started the countdown, they got deeper and deeper into it and my wife was getting madder and madder that they were ignoring Brandon's shot, and she said "if he's not #1, I'm writing letters". I was never more proud of her and of my goal to convert her from a non-sports fan to a Blazer nut. WORK COMPLETE.

Am I also in the minority that I liked Marv Albert's call of the shot, where he did his trademark "YESSSSS!!!!" when it went in?

I really think Wheels should have had a heart attack right then.... No man can have that kind of reaction and live to tell about it

Wow - I've had that thought too. Especially since Wheels carries around about 100 extra lb's!!
