Wargods/Ken Shamrock Productions presents The St. Valentine's Eve Massacre took place last night. What is that you ask? It is where over the hill fighters can get wins against even more terrible opponents, apparently. On the card last night we had Ken Shamrock (45) taking on super heavyweight Ross Clifton and David "Tank" Abbott (44) fighting heavyweight Mike Bourke. Also on the card The Ultimate Fighter veteran Josh "Bring the Pain" Haynes fought Rafael Real. Shamrock (0-5 in his last five, all losses by knockout) managed to submit the blubbery Clifton (1-5 in his last six, three losses by submission and two by knockout) in the first round via armbar. Abbott (1-8 in his last nine, all losses by knockout or submission) took thirty seconds to knock out Bourke (1-8-1 in his last ten, seven of eight losses by stoppage). Haynes won by decision over Real (1-5 in his last six). At the end of the show Shamrock called out Abbott. Just thought you'd like to know. The UFC maybe needs a senior's tour like the PGA has for guys like Abbott, Shamrock, and Severn.
For sure. I've LOL'd before at the bar. I used to think he was a dork but I've learned to appreciate him. He is a good hype man.
For a 44 year old man Shamrock is still pretty jacked. I'll give him that. He can still beat up most average or extremely overweight men.
Unless his true love is another man named Ross, I can't remember ever seeing a guy with a tattoo like that on his shoulder. Girl, yes. Girl's name, yes. But his own name? That is the worst tattoo of the day. He is Ross Clifton, the guy Kenny armbarred. And here is Mike Bourke, the guy Tank Abbott dispatched in 29-seconds. I think he runs the scale at the local gravel pit weekdays.
Its Tank, dude. Guy has tried to throw an opponent over the cage wall before. Shots after the bell... its all in a days work.
