http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=akxgeg I imagine some rights and draft picks as well.
Suns give up Amare and Barbosa and get no talent back at all, just expirings? Completely implausible. They want to save money and get young talent back to rebuild around. You have them trading their best young player, Barbosa, in the deal.
The Suns owner is facing major financial issues, and since he is tied to the banking industry I have a feeling he is going to hit the reset button. Like all things, this is just my guess, but yes the Suns get very little talent in exchange for huge savings at the end of the year.
fair trade that might make some sense for all 3 teams and works: incoming- suns: raef, bayless, tyrus thomas, +multiple picks bulls: amare, outlaw blazers: deng, hinrich
Yeah, Thomas should be going to Phoenix at the least. And Bulls should be getting Raef Lafrentz or Rudy Fernandez if they're giving up both Deng/Hinrich. I think this multi team trade is better: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bngmy3
That one's good, because it leaves the Bulls with Gooden's conract to trade for Tyson Chandler or Chris Kaman.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b5jfec Perhaps the Blazers send a pick Phoenix's way
Sergio would have to be dealed because all we'd hear is pouting for the rest of the year becuase his no PT... that said, i'd rather keep our PG position because I think Blake works well with what we need for the PG position and Bayless can take the reigns soon, so I think we are set. I wouldn't be against getting Deng if KP thinks its the right move though.
I think if we could move Rudy instead of Bayless, I'd prefer it. The thing is that while from a talent perspective it works, it leaves the back court sort of a mess: PG: Hinrich/Blake/Sergio SG: Roy/Barbosa/Rudy That's a lot of players with a lot of talent... moving Rudy and keeping Bayless would alleviate the SG clogging and leave the Blazers with a PG prospect... Ed O.
Jefferson, Mbah a Moute, Allen for RLEC, Travis, Sergio, Shavlik, 2010 1st rd pick, 2009 2nd rounders. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=byvmbw its more attractive to me at least. We could also consider replacing Sergio with Bayless and have them add in Sessions in place of Luc Richard.
