    Interesting how they got the same number of text votes. Given they never gave the directions how to vote, just gave the number, I assume they tied 0 to 0? Actually, I texted O'neal's last name for MVP. Maybe a Bryant fan figured out to text Kobe's last name, making it a 1 to 1 tie on the text vote?

    I'd say they were both pretty deserving. Kobe was the high scorer and Shaq went for 16/5 and was 8/9 from the field.

    Why would you even text? That's fail right there.

    Exactly! There was no directions on how to text in your vote, just a number. No choices or nothing lolz. It was so rigged, but still pretty cool.

    Based on how the voting was in previous nights, maybe they just assumed you would remember how, since I don't think they changed it?

    Haha, I'm not sure if it was rigged, it was definitely a little staged.

    But oh goddddd, how corny was that whole thing?! Jeez man, spare me that BS. Craig Sager's questions during that interview at the beginning of the all star game......I wanted to beat the crap out of him...He kept on bringing up the past, LET IT GO.

    So who takes home the trophy? My guess is that they will fight over it after making up, pissing each other off and hating each other again. Then, being 6 years older than Kobe, Shaq decides to be the bigger man for once by settling the issue peacefully. He eats it.

    Shaq will keep it since his career is almost over. Kobe will enjoy different types of trophies later on so he should be charitable.

    I believe they said in the postgame that Shaq was getting the trophy to take home to his kids.

    Kobe let Shaq take it home to his boys.

    Shaq got the majority of the media vote, Kobe got the fan vote.

    Media = 75% of vote
    Fan = 25% of vote

    Kobe got 5 media votes, 2 fan votes
    Shaq got 6 media votes, 1 fan vote

    It should have been a 3-way tie with CP3
