http://www.operationsports.com/foru...8-nba-2k9-sliders-authenticity-real-gets.html Those are the ones I use. I've tweaked them a bit. I dropped the computers fouling tendencies down to about 27, otherwise you get to the line a ridiculous amount (I got there 30 times in one game with Kobe). I also tweaked the 3 point and mid range shot sliders up a bit, 55 I think, otherwise, you never hit a jump shot. Overall, the sliders are pretty good. I've gotten a lot of really good games out of them, though I've also had some ridiculously high scoring games out of them too. The last three games I played as the Lakers, on 9 minute quarters, I racked up over 130 in each.
No problem, bro. If you ever need sliders for any game, Operation Sports is a really good forum to find them at.
They're pretty solid, I think. Like I said, I've had some good, grind it out games, and I've had some asininely high scoring blowouts of teams. It really depends on how you play the game. If you exploit the fact that inside scoring is rather easy, no matter what sliders you use, it's not going to be tough. However, you can't get too accustomed to shooting jumpers either, cause you won't win that way. And just a note, to show why you should put the 3 point shooting up a bit. For the first 14 games of my season that I'm in, I was dead last in 3PT%, shooting 29% as a team. It's been better recently, but that's something you have to tweak a bit. If you tweak that, mid range shooting, and foul tendencies, they're rock solid sliders. Though, there is room for improvement in them.
Just one last thing, what difficulty and quarter length you on? I play on Superstar and have 9min quarters.
I do 12 minuites on hall of fame in franchise mode because I want my numbers in the game to match the season's ppg, rpg. I found some sliders on that 2K share, I am avg like 130 ppg. I am getting a little too much in the paint though, but with the regular sliders my ppg would be like 180. To score a lot of points just trade for Derrick Rose, just run up the court, do some of the isolation moves and dunk. Also if you go to the left side of the court and go along the endline from the left side, Rose always tip toes the endline and gets past the defender for a layup.
12 minutes is a ridiculously long time to play quarters, and the outcome would hardly be realistic. That's why I'm at 9min on Superstar. I usually get realistic FGA, FTA and points on both sides.
The highest I've scored was 140 on 9 minute quarters on Superstar difficulty. This game was somewhat of a freak game, most of my games I score around 110 or so, which is reasonable, especially in today's NBA.
I plaed 12 minutes on Rookie for fun, I scored 987 points. Kobe Bryant had 647 points, 120 rebounds, 130 assists, and like 140 steals. It was amazing. I beat the Hawks 987-586.
Please tell me you're kidding. I think I'd go nuts even trying to play a game on Rookie with 12 minute quarters....at some point, it would get mind numbing being able to double team them on the trap every time down the court and forcing the TO. That strategy already works well enough to allow me to force 15+ TOPG on Superstar...I'd hate to see how much havoc that could wreak on the retarded AI that is Rookie mode.
This game is hard. How long did it take you guys to get used to this? I get every shot blocked. I miss wide open J's.
