So what does everyone think. Will the Bulls make a move before the deadline in just a few short days?

I think that they will, but not the Amare trade. I have a bad feeling that that trade is dead. The Camby/Kamen thing seems more likely to me at this point.

You'd think it would be done by now...

To roughly quote Enrico Fermi, "where is it?" (the deal)

Stoudemire is a go according to some people. Not so much to others.

Nocioni and Hughes are almost sure to be traded. Maybe not both, but at least one of them.

Nobody in their right mind would want Hughes. He was so overrated in Washington. I was glad when they didn't match the offer by Cleveland.

Nocioni, how has he been this year?

I don't think they'll get Amare. I think Amare wants to stay in Phoenix now that Porter is out.

Maybe Amare was pulling our leg the whole time. Get our Bulls hopes up and then change at the last minute.

I agree, you think it would of happened by now. I was watching the press conference with Kerr and th new coach and I was thinking no way are they going to have 2 press conferences in a matter of 4 days. If they were going to trade Amare they would of done it today to announce everything at once.

Sam Smith said Noc was definitely going to be traded by the deadline. What happened to that? Larry Hughes being around isn't that surprising to me cause he makes an insane amount of money.

I'm just sayin' I'm getting kind of nervous that we won't close any deals. lol.

Noc has been good at some points and the worst player in the history of the NBA at other times. He needs a change of scenery.

Where is Noc going? Not that I don't think he should go, but I'd like to see him go somewhere where he gets a shot to go deep in the playoffs, and then anchors them down for a few years with that contract...

As of 20 minutes ago Stein is reporting on ESPN.com that the Suns are leaning heavily against trading Amare.

Nocioni and Hughes are the type of players who won't be traded until right before the deadline if they're included in trades.

I'm starting to hate the Suns right about now.

While Kerr said his intention is to “keep what we have and go forward and see what we can do with it,” he left out the part about whether everyone in the organization wants to do that. There have been strong indications in recent weeks that managing partner Robert Sarver is pushing for financially motivated trades that would dump salary and clear cap space for the future. I can’t imagine Sarver is eager to keep the roster intact after eating about $4 million of Porter’s contract only 51 games into it.

So the dysfunction continues, and Kerr is next with the bull’s eye on his chest. Asked how he likes his job, he smiled and said, “Just peachy.”

I've just not understood why the Suns make a deal if it doesn't get them under the LT.

Otherwise, why not just wait till the summer.

As for us... the sooner Kirk, Noc, and Hughes are gone, the better. $30M for a bench that doesn't play much is awful. I'm cool with pretty much everyone else departing too if it's the result of a plan of the sort we've lacked for the last couple years.

Hughes and Brother Abe make a combined $20M to not play a minute in games these days.

Well yeah, but Brother Abe at least has the excuse of being injured. Hughes is healthy and sitting, and the other two are healthy and not playing much
