Nash had 21 assists tonight. He'll be on the block by next week. I think Steve Kerr still wears a Spurs jersey under his suit.

A lot of rumors, Miami, Chicago, Portland, New York, Memphis, Golden State. I doubt New York because it's been rumored Amare was the reason D'Antoni was sent packing. The Portland deal seems to have been more of a smokescreen to stir up some better trades. Last I read it's basically down to Miami or Chicago, Chicago doesn't seem willing to add Noah to the deal, personally I don't think Sarver will go for the Bulls offer because Hughes' contract goes beyond this year and I think he wants to dump salary immediately. If Sarver could I'm sure he'd simply sell Amare along with the Gorilla, the team name, the nets, scoreboard, the lights, speakers, Al McCoy...

That's insane, so if Phoenix trades Amare, what happens when Shaq J-Rich Grant Hill and Nash retires in a coupla years?

Maybe they'll make Barbosa their franchise player! haha

This is really a very different team from the Suns that were fun to watch..

If Amare has a say in all this, he'll go to a team that already has a superstar like Wade or LBJ. The best thing for a superstar bigman is that he has a sidekick that doesn't conflict with his game i.e. Big - Small 1-2 punch combination (Kobe - Shaq, Wade - Shaq - Kobe - Pau, et al).

I see Cle, chi and Mia as the leaders. While toronto and portland would be plain stupid on so many levels. amare and bosh, amare and oden (aldrige is more of a high - post player than amare, he'll be a better teammate to oden than amare) cannot co-exist... its like saying you have wade and kobe sharing the back court.

Not much information about it, but getting Marion back would be a little strange for the Suns.

hmmm... do you think Miami would let go of Beasley? I thought they drafted him to be a 1-2 combo with Wade for the future?

Riley was never that enamored with Beasley according to reports. Most people really believed he was taking Mayo second overall. I think he just took Beasley at 2 because he can play PF and his value was perceived as being higher.

They are both Brian Colangelo draft picks, I wouldn't doubt he wants them both; personally I love the dynamic when they play together but it would seem Marion does not. I'm reading the trade talks have died off though, it's highly unlikely Amare is moved before the deadline (I'm hoping he won't be moved at all).

Good to see Phoenix didn't jump the gun and unload him for a subpar package.
