http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_5c4bb2910100c3pa.html?tj=1 He didnt say he wont resign, but that he can't make a decision right now. Of corse if the the rockets start rolling after all star break he most likely will resign. But this is mind boggling, our team is top 3 on paper and we're playing terrible mediocre ball. We lose to horrible teams, but we've beaten boston, denver, orlando, cant beat the lakers. The only thing this team needs is to play healthy. They've barely started doing that and are .500 team. 2nd half of the season is no joke. They need to be on the same page soon or they could get the 14th lottery pick. Its starting to get pathetic, but its understandable. Just that it wont be understandable if they do this bullshit in march. I dont think Houston will fall down in the standings. They've kept themselves afloat with injuries left and right and they do that every year. They have beaten good playoff teams. Need to stop playin inconsistently. All they need is time to gel. We'll see soon enough if they're championship material. go rockets, hurry up and do something. the league is yours for the taking.
no surprise that yao isn't resigning right now. no doubt in my mind that he'll end up resigning though.
I doubt Yao resigns especially with the direction the rockets are headed in and considering all the talent that will be out there once the 2010 free agent class decides to find new homes..........He will take that player option in 2010/2011 I'm guessing........mainly because of the money...........
i really can't see Yao going to a different team. I do think that Houston would like to keep him for his whole career as of now and create a better supporting cast around him. I mean, you can't find a 7'6 guy who plays great basketball just anywhere. But Houston should definitely work harder to get a better and HEALTHIER roster to take pressure off Yao to assure that he will stay - I'm sure a lot of other teams will look to sign him if he does not resign.
