    They would owe them 3 years worth....if they traded him to Minnesota tommorow, they would have to give the Packers their 1st round pick in 2009, 2010, and 2011

    I actually think he's done this time. His body can't really take the abuse anymore. I heard him talking about potentially having to have arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder if he wanted to return, and that's not something he's interested. One thing is for sure, the NFL is surely going to miss him.

    The NFL doesn't miss players....by the time they retire, most NFL stars are an after thought like Favre would have been if the media didn't have such a crush on the guy....there is always a new player to replace the hype....
