Dont fool yourself, people (a small few) were acting like asses here too. Thats another issue, I just want to make sure people just arent talking out of their asses on how it went down. Did Basel ask the Blazer OT section turn into a shouting match with shit talking in almost every single post?
The Blazers OT section was doing reasonably well before he inserted himself, so maybe he did, in essence, ask for it. I know that some of us tried to have reasonable communications with Basel after he closed any and all communications on the open forum over it, but instead of anything constructive being offered, we were ignored and/or mocked. Told that the site would be fine without us, that there was nothing special about our community, etc. The administration of that site placed trust in the hands of the CMs there and the greenies totally fucked them by not only being nonresponsive but actively hostile. You are kidding right? Please tell me you are kidding... Towards the end there were 3 POR posters that were making a political thread every other minute. They would be filled with things just to antagonize other posters. Even if you want to argue that point you cant deny that that is what it turned into. Pretty much everybody was saying to everybody "Fuck you, You are fucking crazy, go to hell"

DaRizzle, you need to get over the fact Kobe is a rapist. We Blazer fans accepted Ruben was. We accepted that Zach slipped that girl GHB. We accepted that Damon had a haybale of weed in his crawlspace. We accepted the truth and it made it easy for us to trade them. I know Kobe is the cornerstone of your franchise, but that doesn't mean you should delude yourself.

You mean for posting OT items in an OT forum? Guilty as charged. Basel could have ignored them, instead he responded like a L*ker fan, not a CM. If I were a CM and in a L*ker forum and someone were making JailBlazer cracks, it wouldn't have bothered me a whit.
