This the part that caught my eye Man KP must be running some serious misinformation campaign; you've got The Game saying the Wallace talks are dead, contradicted by Thomsen here, and then Jefferson is apparently off the table. Thursday can't get here soon enough.
I wouldn't expect a Wallace trade to happen until he's played his game tonight. Until then, I'd chalk up anything I heard that purports to come from the Portland end of things as disinformation.
Wallace playing tonight will not affect his trade value to Portland. Pritchard has said countless times that a trade will be done for the future of the team not for a playoff push this year. Even if Wallace is not 100% for the rest of the year, he would help us in the long run.
I believe Pritchard's point was that he wouldn't sacrifice the future for a playoff push this year. Being part of a playoff push this year, without hurting the future, would certainly be increased value. If that value doesn't exist, it changes the total value of Wallace. Perhaps not enough to deter Pritchard, but it would still be a consideration in how much he'd pay.
