Who is someone on your team that is the hidden x-factor. He won't be in many scouting reports, but he can play. He does the intangibles and doesn't get much/enough credit for it.For the Cs, (although i feel there's alot of them) I'm gonna say Raef LaFraentz. His D is very underrated, and in close games down the stretch, he always seems to come up with a huge rebound or block. People look at his contract and stat sheet, and they think he's worthless. I agree, he's overpaid, but he is very valuable to this team at the moment.
I also gotta say someone who is sort of unnoticed is david harrison. This guy is young. He might not do well from the free throw line but the man can play D and go in strong. This guy is the next shaq if you ask me!
He's definitely not the next Shaq, but i do love his game. I wanted thim to be a celtic earlier this year. He plays tough D. But that was before the emergence of PERKULES.
Eduardo Najera hands down.He is one of the most underrated players in the league. George Karl is on record saying that he believes Najera has won the Nuggets 3-4 games already this season. He does all the little things that makes a team better. He dives for loose balls, Sets hard picks, takes charges, plays tough hard nosed defense. He averages 6 points and 6 rebounds in only 25 minutes per game. Thats pretty darn impressive considering not only is he an undersized power forward, but he has to get rebounds over Camby and Martin.
David Harrison shows signs every now and then. He gets blocks every now and then. But he loses his cool way too much, he complains about EVERY single call. He is constantly spinning to his right hand. Alot more work needs to be done with him.Jeff Foster goes unnoticed to me. If they made a stat for however much times you keep and offensive possesion alive Foster would be 1st if not top 3.
Pistons have to be Lindsey Hunter. He is a huge boost of energy at point, amazing defender, and he is a hero come playoff time. Not to mention a great player to have in the locker room.

He was such a steal. Houston traded him away for Dan Langhi who cant even find a roster spot now.Smart move by Dallas to pick him up.
Tyronn Lue..He really does alot for the Hawks..that nobody sees..Hes a crazy good 3 point shooter..at times he looks like a ballhog but he still seems to get 5-6 assists a game..hes a very solid player..that nobody has EVER mentioned on a basketball board..
http://bballworld.ipbhost.com/forums/index...?showtopic=1130Already a topic on this, but whatever. For the Wizards, it has to be Antonio Daniels and Michael Ruffin. AD has really rised since his arrival here in D.C. which was a slow start. He's starting to pick up things, and his leadership, experience, quickness, maturity, and playmaking have really benefited this team. Ruffin is a beast on the offensive boards and hustles for loose balls. If Brenda Haywood doesnt come to play, Ruff's always ready. He's like Eduardo Najera for the Wizards.
Yeah, I was bout to say AD..Hes really been a solid player for Washington..I really like his playmaking skills, and his overal ability..

He always presses, goes after every loose ball, plays very tough inside, and gets every rebound within his area.
- Joe Johnson: Putting up big numbers for a bad team. - Josh Howard: Amazing guy but gets no recognition. - Speedy Claxton: Doing real well, a huge reason for New Orleans turnaround.
definitely david lee. i love this guy cuz he's all about hustle and he rebounds like a mad man. he just doesn't get the playing time from larry. i guess he's the next darko. lee has shown he can play in this league. in the triple OT he played over 50 minutes and scored 23 points and grabbed 16 boards. he's also ambidextrous. he can score with his left or right. he's an athlete too, he won the mcdonalds all american dunk contest back in the day.
I'd say it would have to be Mehmet Okur. 17 and 9 is very good for a center and you would think he was some stiff with the amount of publicity he gets.
Hakim Warrick? I haven't seen his numbers but I know he did great at Syracuse and havent seen him play with the Grizzles. But I hear he gets ok minutes.
