Their beatwriter also said they could go after Ben Gordon. They have the money to do both. These two guys really make a lot of sense for Detroit, if you get into Dumars thinking. The previous Pistons championship team was composed of misfits from other teams. Gordon/Boozer could be seen as misfits from their teams right now. Albeit, very talented misfits.
I don't know if Gordon would make sense. They have Stuckey & Rip still, do they continue to have Rip come off the bench?
I'd imagine maybe trade Richard Hamilton, since he's so old, or continue to bring him off the bench. They could also trade Rodney Stuckey. He's not very good, but seems to have an overrated value. I think the Pistons might be looking to bring Gordon in, and make him into a point guard, like they did with Billups.
^they should also trade Rip as soon as possible and go on a rebuilding phase... they won't win anything with their current lineup... ben gordon can never be a billups type PG LOL a lineup of Stuckey - Gordon - Prince - Boozer - C looks promising though... i wonder how stuckey and gordon will fit together since they are both scoring guards.
