A centerpiece at the C position, two young prospects, a good back-up C and a pick? I don't know, I think that's too much for GSW to give up. Plus, how do they re-sign him in 2010? Even with Biedrins off the books, that's still only about half the $$ we'll need to come up with.

If it were Maggette, Crawford, B Wright, pick, then I'd do it. But there's no way I give up Beans and two of our most promising young guys, along with a pick, for what could be a 1-year rental.

Also, him saying that with Monta and Maggette, GS would have the building blocks to build something special? I'm sorry, but Maggette is not a cornerstone of the future. More like a temporary scaffolding until the real lumber goes up.

2 words, Smoking Crack! Chad Ford claims to have this knowledge of players worth, and he puts together our top prospects in a deal with a pick?

So I guess we'll be starting Rob Kurz at center after that deal? Awesome. Sounds like a winner.

Of course Bosh will start as a center, and Maggette will play back up center. That will make Bosh unhappy, and he will leave after 2010 season. And, we will watch Randolph blossoming in Raptors uniform, and they will challenge East with Biedrins/Turiaf center line up, while we are discussing possible #1 pick in 2011 to 2015. Even if Bosh is signed for next 5 years, I probably won't do that deal. But, with Bosh possibly leaving in 2010, and so many teams with caproom? I will pass...

Sheesh. I think some writers just like to put together trades that rip off the Warriors even if it is for a stud player like Bosh or Stoudemire because well, they're the Warriors.

Bosh is definite center in Nelly's lineup and Turiaf will be lucky to get 10 minutes of play off the bench. Nelson doesn't understand interior defense, only fastbreak offense and wearing out our energy players. When Turiaf goes after blocked shots, it makes it easier for Biedrins to rebound and stay out of foul trouble. Plus, we don't have to double team one of the big men when we go small. When I mean small I mean when we play like we normally do under Don Nelson (pf @ center, sf @ pf).
