This wasn't a heat of the moment punch, it was thought about and then acted upon by Zach. Only 2 games for this? David Stern is a complete asshat who just makes up things as they come along.

Also, love the lackadaisical approach by his teammates. I'd be pissed if someone on our team got punched like that, and a guy acted like Matt Barnes does, just walking over really slow and non-chalant. I know he probably did the right thing to not escalate matters, but still. I'd live with a small suspension if guys stuck up for eachother.

 

Didnt Melo come off the bench to get involved IIRC...that would be the reason

 

If it was Artest doing what Zach did, he would have gotten suspended for half a season. (I'm 100% sure about that)
