Or more likely, part of a bigger deal. Hinrich would be my guess.

Meh, that may be a sign that we are not trading Raef. Setting ourselves up for expirings this offseason to have cap space? Who knows...

Sad... I would LOL if this was our only deal. That would be awesome.

Michael Ruffin was the idiot that threw the ball up in the air and Morris Peterson caught it and hit a 3 to send the game into OT.

Diogu is essentially an expiring, too, though. So I guess if this trade really happens, the Blazers think Ruffin can be a more useful backup power forward.

Maybe it's the classic "challenge" trade...each team trades a disappointing player believing the other team's guy is a bit better.

    Ruffin?

You sure that isn't a holdover from the JailBlazers days saying we got a "ruffian"? ;)

Mixum already had a post planned on the devastating effects that Ruffin will add in clutch situations. Basically -

So for a nickname, should we call him Ruffin the Muffin?

I remember that game. I spilled my food and drank every where. All my friends and I went crazy. I love Ruffin.

I will miss Ike, if only because I will miss saying DNPiagu during games.

Now I have to think of a nickname for Ruffin. How about "Cap Space"?

Maybe Ike has a cap hold since he's due for a qualifying offer maybe? Of course.. we could just renounce him then. So I don't know what the point was.
