Salmons and miller for nocioni and gooden http://www.nba.com/ and to think i was being bashed as usual reporting salmons was out. great deal for the bulls. they just made the playoffs.
Good deal for the Bulls. Personally, I wasn't big on bringing in Salmons anyways (he's a decent player, but lateral move at best), so glad to see him off the market.
Yep. If anyone was going to disappear from the market, I'm glad it was the player I was least interested in.
Here is a more direct link to the story. http://www.nba.com/2009/news/02/18/bulls.kings.trade/index.html
CHeck this out.... from the ESPN article on the trade... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3916703 Maybe we're dealing for Deng? Hinrich? Salmons? or it could be a false rumor. UPDATE: maybe its swapping Ike with Ruffin... http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/sports/kings/archives/019736.html look at the update at around 1:35pm
The source said separate deal, so it can't be Salmons. Salmons can't be traded again in combination with other players for a few months.
Will someone please explain to me why the Kings did this? It's not even a salary dump: Nocioni has a LONG contract.
I'm tellin' you guys, it really can be Deng. I don't want Hinrich, but i'd gladly take him w/ Deng if we get rid of Blake and Sergio and have a Kirk/Bayless PG rotation. That would be badass. Hinrich | Bayless Roy | Rudy Deng | Batum Aldridge | ? Oden | Przybilla Assuming that Outlaw, Blake, Sergio and even Webster and Raef and our 1st somehow get involved? IDK... but a nice 9 man rotation for sure. I'd like to keep Travis.
why would CHI want to take back two PGs? i can't wait for thursday at 12:01, just to stop reading the idiotic trades some people come up with.
Blake is expiring isn't he? I'm just throwing out proposals. I think you are just upset I put Sergio in there.
