I get it, he's young, but he barely has any playoff experience, and he is being overpayed. What is he good at anyways? Is he a shooter, is he a slasher? I never understood why Deng was so great.....
Great mid-range shooter, can rebound, can also shoot the 3 ball, and I think he's a pretty good defender.
He's good at all facets of the game, even if he does nothing at stand-out levels right now. Plus, he's been producing very well at a young age, which suggests that as he approaches his prime, he will become even better. He's a little overpaid relative to his current production, but I think his deal is reasonable when factoring in future expectations.
He can play a little defense: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9qjLYrwQeOI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9qjLYrwQeOI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
It doesn't really make too much sense for the Bulls though to take on guys like Miller and Salmons to be more competitive and then give up one of their best players.
