    Atlantic Yards is delayed for years unless Ratner can get Federal economic stimulus money to build it, and there's significant pressure building against allowing Ratner to build a stadium to move LeBron to Brooklyn with Federal money.

    I don't want to take the chance and have Thorn backout of the deal after the deadline. Fuck Thorn. I don't want VC anyway and I believe KP really doesn't want VC that much either. I think KP is doing this to get Char or Was to byte on trading Wallace or Butler to us.

    No thanks on VC. No thanks with Milwaukee either. Charlotte talks still goin', so that is good. Granger's name came up, most likely fake, but if there is any chance you trade the house for him. maybe his injury will decrease his value.

    Caron rumors seem quiet, so that is either good or bad, imo. THey are either dead and he is off the table, or the silence around him is a good thing. Oh well...

    Do that deal ASAP.

    Here is the deal with our SF possition.

    Outlaw can score, but can't do anything else. Thatis his biggest problem. When his shot isn't falling he rarely does anything else to help the team win.

    Batum is a great all around player that does everything well. His only problem is inexperience.

    Webster apparently has the worst hairline fracture in the history of the world. When healthy he was inconsistant at best last year.


    That is why, IMO, this team coul dreally use a player like VC, Jefferson, Wallace, Butler or Deng. All of those players can give you more than just fade away 18 footers in the lane, and are all more consistant than Batum at this point. Let Nic develop with consistant playing time and learn behind someone with more skills than jacking up shots.

    VC would be perfect because his contract is the perfect length to get Batum perfectly seasoned to take over. Then VC's contract would be a huge expiring deal that is not fully guaranteed. A team could trade 18 million in salary, and only have 4 million count against them with VC's contract.
