    Welcome aboard Alvin Gentry.

Suns leading the Clippers 81-49 at halftime. Suns shooting a whooping 76% from the field.

Clippers only have 8 rebounds at the half, and the Suns have 24.

Looks like Phoenix best trade was Gentry for Porter.

Those are some NBA Live type of numbers right there. Ridiculous scoring by Phoenix tonight. If they play like this under Gentry, they'll pretty easily make the playoffs.

Randolph better get suspended for 15 to 20 games. (deserves even more)

I doubt he gets suspended that much, could be wrong though. However, I guess 'Melo got suspended for 15 games a couple years back for about the same thing, didn't he?

Can't get too excited, no Camby, no Kaman, Randolph for 11 minutes. At least they took care of business; the margin reflects what a healthy (28-23) team should beat half of a (13-40) team by.

Nash had 10 assists and only 1 turnover, much better than the 9:4 he's been getting. The rebounds can be explained by the lack of LAC big men, I liked that basically the entire Suns team played, I don't know how much of that was due to the score though, I'd like to see if Genry will go deep on the bench or just play a 7-8 man rotation? I loved the 32 free throw attempts, though that was probably conducive of this game and LAC's lack of big men.

Randolph's "punch" really wasn't that bad, he mostly connected with his arm. Supposedly he was trying to push Lou away but what else are you gonna say afterwards? If he admits he wanted to take his head off the NBA would have to be harsh. I think the ejection and 1 game is fine, it WAS NOT like Carmelo's punch, Carmelo entered a melee, sucker-punched Mardy Collins, then ran away like a punk... his was flagrant, Randolph's was not; granted it's subjective, but that's how the NBA is with these suspensions, when they throw a punch it's usually 1 game, if it lands it's usually more (doesn't make sense because the intention & action was the same, it’s the results that are different). I do think this would be a much bigger deal to me and the NBA if it were Nash he hit instead, due to his size and importance.

Do you have insight on who David Stern/Vince McMahon has picked to be Champion already? I thought he waited until the Playoffs to make his choice :ghoti:

How the hell did that shot to the face not land Randolph more than 2 games? If I were the Suns, I'd be pissed, because that was an absolute cheap shot and deserved more than 2 games.

How was it a cheap shot? Lou got in his face and was staring at him when the punch came, I don't even think the fist landed on the face, it was mostly Randolph's arm, so I feel it was less of a punch, more of an arm shove to the face, hence I thought 1 game was sufficient. When Shaq tried to lay out Brad Miller, that deserved a long suspension because Miller wasn't even looking and had Shaq connected he could've ended Miller's career or life; Melo's punch was the worst as far as I'm concerned because he had no reason to be in that fight, he came out of nowhere and punched somebody who wasn't looking then ran away... that b*tch punch still offends me.

Whatever, it was still completely unnecessary and should have landed him more than 2 games.
