Basically, it's saying the Nets assumed Carter would be enough for RLEC+spare parts, but Pritchard has made it clear they are exploring all options. This shows me that a deal will definitely happen.

I don't think anything is definite. We don't really know how highly the Blazers front office has any of these players rated. What we think these players are worth, and what the Blazers front office thinks these players are worth can be wildly divergent.
