rip. j rich is a good player but rip is the man. he's having his best year this year and he is so calm on the floor. he's also got a ring. rip is a winner.
When Richard Hamilton was a young kid in Washington he put up 20ppg. Take him out of the Pistons offense and unleash him and i'm sure he would be putting up 24ppgish...I just think he's a smarter player.
I'd actually take Rip. He is one of the best shooters in the league, he is a better defender then JRich and I think if he took as many shots as JRich he would be averaging more ppf then he is. JRich has star power in him but I would rather have a good defensive player and a knock down shooter.

Dude. If Rip was on the Warriors everyone knows that he would get atleast 23 a game. With him being on the Pistons, he has to share the ball with all of the other Pistons starting 5.
Who cares what everyone supposedly knows, Stop assuming stuff. What happens if defenses collapse on rip and he doesn't get the same shots he gets now?Bingo.
Who cares if Richardson averages a few more PPG...in Washington he had little trouble putting up 20 in his second season...Detroit of or Detroit he would be a great player.
I'd go with Rip also. Jason Richardson has not been able to get the Warriors that far. They have been underachieving this year while the Pistons are overachieving. It would be interesting seeing Richardson on the Pistons but right now I'd go with Hamilton.
JRich is a much better individual player, but if the NBA has shown us anything, it's that basketball is a team sport. Team paly breeds wins, and while Richardson is selfish and a loser, Hamilton is unselfish and a winner. I don't see it changing
Hamilton I think moves better without the ball and that is difference. Hamilton really makes defenders put a lot of energy to slow him down. He is constantly using picks and working. Richardson doesn't do that.

umm, i'll take JRich w/o hesitation on this one. He can actually create his own shot. The entire Pistons' offense is revolved around Rip coming off screens and such. He's not a very good one-on-one player. JRich has one of the best skillsets in the league. If he could only learn to stop settling for jumpshots, he'd be a top 10 talent.
